At LCS, each and every project is developed under strict scrutiny to meet the high standards of our work flow management.
We did translation of more than 850000 words for their machine manual including drawings from English to Spanish and Portuguese and also did the desktop publishing (DTP) for multiple manuals. We also did translations from English to Russian, German to English and many more languages.
English Transcription with Time-Stamping, Translation/localization, editing, proof-reading, voice-overs, QC, QA and mapping of audios to Hindi languages for one of India's largest education technology company. Also included in this is the localization of their content from class 6th to 12th for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Translation, Proof-reading and designing of print-ready books of modular courses of 20 Lac (60 Books) words, into to 10 regional languages. These include Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. It was a herculean task as there were 6 books per language to be done and these books was very technical. We successfully completed this project of localization within the given timeline.
Translating documents from English to Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Nepali, Urdu and Arabic. These documents are the training guideline modules in which there are Standard Operating Procedures, Assessment and Sign Off and Facilitator Guide for training and evaluating professionals.
We do translations for one of Europe's largest faucet and bathroom/shower manufacturer Grohe, for one of our clients.a. We do translations in more than 45 languages including European, Asian and South American languages. We have done more than a million words in 5 years starting December 2010. This includes website content, techno-marketing materials and press releases.
We have translated several e-learning content, running close to 200000 words. The translations have been done in German and French and we have been doing it since 2005. We were also engaged in the major task of translation, back translation, validation and voice-overs into 16 languages for for one of their clients. This included 5031 words, apart from several other contents we have translated for them.
Translation of various training modules for retail and other industries from English to Hindi. This also included various subjects, like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Accounts, as also retail industry training material. This required the usage of very simple Hindi, making it simpler for those coming from the less educated section. We have been doing this since 2010.
Localization of content for Khan Academy, which had come up with a very unique and nobel concept. that involved localization of mathematics videos in Hindi. This required the usage of very specific and strict kind of vocabulary. This was followed by localization pf the content that included editing and proofreading, voice overs and finally video editing (synchronization with video). We acheived this successfully and finished more than 468 videos, the duration of which ranged from 5 to 10 minutes each.
Voice overs in 10 regional languages that included translation, proof-reading, voice-overs, QC & QA from English to Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi and Oriya and voice-overs for the same, since 2012.
Translation of magazine India Perspectives, whichis a publication of the Ministry of External Affairs of India and provides an insight into India's culture and traditions, along with elements of contemporary India. We have done translation of the magazine into German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Bahasa Indonesia, Bangla, Arabic, Sinhala, Srilankan Tamil from 2011 to 2015 and also translated various magazines, like Discover India, into Thai, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and also did typesetting for the same.
Translation, Transcription, voice-overs, course review and validation, sub-titling in more than 50 languages, which includes Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, Latin American Spanish, Dutch, Hindi and many more. This is a task we have been doing since 2005. Apart from this, we are also doing Transcription and closed captioning of videos in English (American Ascent) since 2016.
Translation of honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speeches from Hindi to English since 2014. This was a big challenge for us due to negligible availability of Hindi to English translators, who specialized in the Political field. What made it a bigger challenge is the fact that the honourable PM speaks extempore and at certain points, sentences are are even without a full stop. So, to collate all the information and put it in the right perspective was a tedious task, but a task we took on with a smile. We are proud to have done more than 150 speeches, covering around 300000 words till date. We did the translation of "Mann Ki Baat", his speeches including the 86th ICAR Foundation, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana' (PMJDY), Community Reception in Tokyo, visit to Taimei Elementary School in Tokyo, Indian community at Allphones Arena, Sydney, ceremony to launch "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" Programme, Bhawan Nirman Aarambh at World Hindi Secretariat Building site, Mauritius, Press Statement delivered by the PM after the Signing of Agreements in Paris, speeches in Hannover, Germany, Canada, Tsinghua University, Beijing, speeches in Mongolia, South Korea, Bangabandhu Convention Centre, First International Yoga Day, speeches in Fiji, among others.
